My name is Michael C. Larkins, and I was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. Early in life, I developed a speech impediment that accompanied me from adolescence into adulthood. Along this journey, I had to find ways to speak more fluently, overcoming numerous challenges and learning valuable life lessons. Through many ups and downs, I emerged stronger, ultimately becoming an overcomer.
